She was born in 1961 in Niğde. She completed her primary, secondary and high school educations in Ankara. She started her medical education at the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University in 1978 where she was graduated from in 1984. Then, she worked at Malatya SSK Hospital within the scope of her compulsory service between 1984-1986. From 1986 to 1987, she worked at the emergency unit of Dışkapı SSK Hospital. And she completed her education at Doktor Sami Ulus Child Hospital between 1987-1991.
She worked at the newborn intensive care unit of Doktor Zekai Burak Maternity Hospital between 1991-1999.
