Completed his compulsory service as an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist at Kırıkkale State Hospital between January 1983-December 1985. Completed his military service at Samsun Military Hospital between January 1986- April 1987. Then, he started to work as a lecturer at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Faculty of Medicine, Cumhuriyet University. Appointed as assistant professor in January 1989. Awarded with the title of associate professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology in October 1995. Worked as observing lecturer at the United States of America Connecticut Children Medical Center between June 1999 and January 2000. Awarded with the title of professor in February 2001. He retired from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in October 2005 and started to work in private health institutions in Ankara.
